The Council of Sport | www.torun.pl

The Council of Sport in the Toruń Municipal Commune is a consultative unit handling sport-related issues. It was formed in Toruń in 2007.

The Council is responsible, in the first place, for expressing opinions on documents such as:

• the development strategy of the Toruń Municipal Commune within the scope of physical culture
• the budget proposal in the part concerning physical culture
• development programmes concerning the sports base on the territory of the Toruń Municipal Commune
• draft resolutions concerning the development of physical culture
• draft resolutions referred to in Art. 27 sec. 2 of the Sports Act.

The Council of Sport in its current term was appointed by the Mayor of the City of Toruń in January 2015 (Mayor’s Executive Order No. 16/2015) with the following composition:
