The Council of Public Benefit

The Council of Public Benefit of the City of Toruń (RDPP) is, for the most part, responsible for matters related to the cooperation of the city with non-governmental organisations.

Its primary tasks are to express opinions on the draft development strategies of the Toruń Municipal Commune; express opinions on draft resolutions and bills of local legislation concerning the area of public services and cooperation with non-governmental organisations; express opinions on the functioning of the NGO sector; and initiate actions that support and improve the quality of cooperation between the city and non-governmental organisations.

The RDPP operates under the Public Benefit and Voluntary Service Act and the Long-Term Programme of Cooperation between the Toruń Municipal Commune with Non-Governmental Organisations (Resolution No. 440/2012 of the City Council of Toruń).
