3rd Deputy Mayor of Toruń

He supervises activities in the areas of: health and social policy, administration, records and registration, civil registry office, and the management of the City Centre of Toruń.

He was born on 19 February 1963 in Białystok. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.

In the nineties, he was a co-member of the first team of Radio Toruń. He also worked in the Department of Entrepreneurs and Ownership Transformations at the Voivodeship Governor’s Office and the Tax Audit Office. Between 1995 and 2000 he was a representative of the director for management systems and restructuring at the Metron Water Meters Factory in Toruń.

Since 2000 he has practised law in his own law firm.

His interests include journalism, sailing and archery.

Andrzej Rakowicz took over the office of Deputy Mayor on 2 January 2015.
