The "Plaster" International Poster and Typography Festival | www.torun.pl

The name of the festival is composed of two words with the same meaning: the Polish "plakat" and English "poster". In this way the international character of the event was emphasised. The role of the festival is to promote young artists involved in poster and graphic creativity as well as revival of the graphics society associated with the graphic design. The main element of the festival are poster exhibitions, during which there are presented works of both masters (among others: Lex Drewiński, Lech Majewski) and young artists from various countries. Exhibitions cover the Modern Art Centre space, however, there are also open-air exhibitions. The "Plaster" includes also typographic workshops and lectures.

Organiser of the festival is the "Znaki Czasu" Modern Art Centre.
