The Jazz Od Nowa Festival has a special place among events organised in the Toruń Od Nowa Club. Its inauguration in 2001 was a crowning achievement of the crucial aspect of the Club’s activities, in which jazz has a prominent place. The following editions of the festival are still very popular. Artists performing acoustic mainstream, free jazz, jazz rock can be easily found in the Od Nowa Club, however it is also likely to meet artists loosely connected with jazz.

The Jazz Od Nowa Festival includes concerts of: Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewski, Zbigniew Namysłowski, Tomasz Stańko, Michał Urbaniak, Włodzimierz Nahorny, Janusz Muniak and Jarosław Śmietana. On the other hand, the following bands shall be mentioned: Miłość, Łoskot, Pink Freud, Robotobibok, Oleś brothers, Leszek Możdżer, Tymon Tymański, Adam Pierończyk, and even the black-skinned guitar player - Hiram Bullock, performing songs of Hendrix.

Within few years the Jazz Od Nowa Festival has gained fame and reputation – so significant, that the legendary pianist living in the USA, Adam Makowicz, arrived in 2007 in Poland only to give a performance in the Od Nowa Club. For several years the festival was elongated from two up to four days. And more frequently foreign artists participate in it, for example: Michael Patches Stewart, Samuel Blaser and Ulf Wakenius.
